Dental 101 is an education and training initiative to facilitate overseas dental professionals to acquire skills necessary to pass Australian Dental Council (ADC Australia), NDEB Canada/ NZ and NBDE USA examinations successfully.
Our vision is to seamlessly integrate relevant, up-to-date, criteria dependent methods to help the students/clinicians achieve their goals. We have partnered with the best clinicians/ instructors for us to help deliver the relevant training.
The facility is in Melbourne CBD, 7 minutes walk from ADC exam centre. We are easy accessible by public transport and have ample parking on site and across the road. We provide comprehensive solutions and support in other areas listed below.

Mrs. Kanika Arora
Kanika is a very sociable person and loves to meet with different people from different backgrounds.
She has always had a very clear vision of becoming an educator and continues to follow her passion for the past 15 years.
Currently teaching part-time in Camberwell Grammar School.
She has done her graduation and Post-Graduation in Foreign Language from Delhi University and has done her research project in “Learning Styles of the students” and was awarded first position in the University on her work.
She has not only worked as Translator and Interpreter with renowned Export firms Overseas, but also had single-handed successfully run her Training Institution.
Moving to Melbourne after getting married in 2014 and as other migrants her struggle was no different. She along with her husband Dr. Deepesh has been following her passion of helping other migrants not only in preparing for ADC exams but also helping them to seamlessly integrate in Australia and navigate their pathway in foreign land.
Dedication and motivation led to being a perfect scorer in PTE exams, and subsequently has helped a lot of other aspiring candidates achieve their desired score successfully in PTE / IELTS exams.
Cooking, singing and traveling are some of her favourite parts of the daily routine.

Deepesh Sanduja graduated from Melbourne University. During his graduation he was awarded the ADRF grant and has scientific articles published in the reputed dental journals. Since graduation Deepesh has worked as a Demonstrator for Final Year B.D.Sc Students and he has helped a lot of graduates with their individual goals. Dr. Varun Garg is a Melbourne based Prosthodontist. He completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) in 2017 and maintains specialist private practices in Collins Street and Tullamarine. He is also actively involved with prosthodontic teaching as a clinical supervisor at The University of Melbourne and other CPD programs. Originally from Colombia, Dr. Lina graduated as a Dentist with honors in 2005. Since then, she has worked mainly in the private sector, and also held teaching positions coaching undergraduate students from 2008 to 2017, which has kept her at the cutting edge of dentistry – from preventative work to more complex procedures.
Dr. Lina moved to Australia with her husband in 2017, residing in Melbourne where she has worked across various roles in the dentistry industry while doing the Australian Dental Council assessment process which was successfully finalized in August 2019. She believes, if she wouldn’t recommend a procedure to a member of her own family, she would never recommend it to her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Lina loves reading, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Edith Canales

Dr Edith qualified in 2010 with Honors from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University in Peru. Her special interests include Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, Oral Rehabilitation, Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health. While graduating in 2010, Dr Edith completed a Diploma in Orthodontics. Not long after, she joined The Peruvian Navy as a dentist, where one of her most remarkable experiences was doing outreach work in remote indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon. Witnessing the inequalities in some parts of her home country contributed to develop a deeper sense of empathy, compassion, care and later on led her to study Master of Public Health and Master of International Development at La Trobe University in 2015.
Dr Edith gained invaluable experience working in the private and public sector. And because she loves sharing knowledge in a simple and logical way, she was invited as a clinical demonstrator and lecturer in Peruvian Universities.
After obtaining her Dental Registration in Australia in 2019, Dr Edith is passionately working again in Dentistry. She is currently member of the Australian Dental Association and Peruvian Dental Association.
When not at work, Dr Edith enjoys water-color painting, making terrariums and hiking.
Dr Rhada is passionate about dentistry and recognises how a healthy smile can have a positive impact on patient’s life. She works to connect with each patient she treats and to make each person feel at ease while being treated.
Dr Rhada graduated with honours from Paris University in 2007 (DDS). She worked in a private practice in the centre of Paris as an associate and teamed up with some renowned French specialists (endo, perio, oral surgeons). After 5 years she left the mainland to work in a private practice in French Guiana, a French overseas department in South America where she enjoyed being exposed to new cultures.
In 2008, she decided to move to Melbourne, Australia and had to undertake the ADC exam. She successfully passed her written exam, one month and half after giving birth of her second child, and cleared the practical exam straight after, both at first attempt.
She is currently a member of the ADA and the French Dental Association.
Besides, Dr Rhada loves to ride her bicycle, hike in the nature, dive, workout (fitness and yoga) and spend quality time with her wonderful family.
Dr. Deeksha Sethi graduated from one of the most prestigious dental colleges in India – Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere- in 2010. During her internship year there, she was also invited to be a Clinical Assistant in the Department of Periodontics, which involved teaching 3rd and Final year students.
Post her internship she worked in various charitable, public and private institutions handling a variety of cases. She also completed many additional courses to improve her knowledge and treatment skills, which she successfully applied to her practice.
After moving to Australia, she cleared her ADC exams in 2019 and has been training ADC aspirants at Dental 101. She is also a practicing dental health professional in the Public Health System in regional Victoria.
As a dental health professional Dr. Deeksha believes in putting people around her at ease and providing the best care for her patients. As a faculty for ADC aspirants she strives to leave them with the information and skill they need to crack the examination process.
She is currently a member of The Australian Dental Association, Indian Dental Association and the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside her work Dr. Deeksha enjoys baking, skating, travelling and reading.

Dr Sonia is an ADC qualified dentist having worked in both public and private practice overseas. She has acquired sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of dentistry. She loves helping people and ensures that all her patients leave her practice with a happy face.
Since completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, she has pursued continuing education in various areas of dentistry. She keeps updated in restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and children’s dentistry.
She loves spending time with her family and is an avid traveler. She has also lived in USA and UK for a few years which gave her good experience of dealing with people from various nationalities.
